SYNOPSIS:

returning for its 21st year!

The festival features over 50 companies and 350+ performances taking place in historic venues across town. 

In 2024, over 17,500 theatregoers attended from all over Canada, the US, and beyond. Hamilton Fringe showcases a diverse lineup of sketch comedy, improv, theatre, dance, puppetry, magic, musicals, and more! Tickets are an affordable $14+ fee (or less) with a one-time purchase of a Fringe Benefits Button ($5).

Fringe On The Streets returns for its second year—a FREE walking tour of the city unlike any other. Fringe Club gets a reboot as Fringe Boulevard, lighting up a pedestrian-only stretch of King William St with free programming, while Relay Coffee Roasters brings the drinks and snacks on the licensed patio.

SYNOPSIS:

Theatre Ancaster’s Conservatory Company boldly steps into the streets of 1950s New York City with West Side Story, the electrifying musical that redefined Broadway. Inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, this timeless production tells the heart-wrenching tale of Tony and Maria—two young lovers caught between the rival street gangs, the Jets and the Sharks.

With unforgettable music by Leonard Bernstein, poignant lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and breathtaking choreography inspired by original creator Jerome Robbins, West Side Story pulses with raw emotion, soaring romance, and explosive dance numbers. From the haunting “Somewhere” to the high-energy “America” and the passionate “Tonight,” every song is a masterpiece.

SYNOPSIS:

Little Shop of Horrors is a delectable sci-fi horror musical with an electrifying 1960s pop/rock score by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman.

Seymour Krelborn is a meek and dejected assistant at a floral shop who happens upon a strange plant, which he affectionately names “Audrey II” after his crush at the shop. Little does he know that this strange and unusual plant will develop a soulful R&B voice, a potty mouth, and an unquenchable thirst for HUMAN BLOOD.

As Audrey II grows bigger and meaner, the carnivorous plant promises limitless fame and fortune to Seymour, as long as he continues providing a fresh supply of blood. Just when it’s too late, Seymour discovers Audrey II’s extra-terrestrial origins and his true drive for world-domination.
