SYNOPSIS:

One of the most beloved musicals of all time, The Sound of Music is overflowing with timeless classics such as “My Favorite Things”, “Do-Re-Mi”, “Sixteen Going on Seventeen” and “Climb Ev’ry Mountain.” This heart-warming family musical tells an inspiring story of the discovery of love and a daring bid for freedom.

Based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, the story follows a free-spirited Maria who serves as governess to the seven disciplined but mischievous children of the stern Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. As the forces of Nazism take hold of 1930’s Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a courageous decision to journey towards freedom.

This classic story told through the music of Rodgers and Hammerstein will capture your heart and have you singing along in your seat!
